Fresh from his tour in South Africa promoting economic development between the two countries and also where he pickled himself in bit of a corner by praising the now deceased former leader of Cuba, Fidel Castro, it seems like Justin Trudeau has a knack for saying color things as of late.
In a recent but brief interview with the Prime Minister after he stepped off his flight in Vancouver, British Columbia, he was asked about whether or not he intended to use Cannabis once legislation will have passed come spring.
In a one-off statement, we may have seen Trudeau’s true intentions with the legalization of Cannabis. When asked about whether or not we could expect him to be using the substance once made legal, he answered “don’t hold me to any higher standards than the rest of Canada. If it’s legal then I reserve my right to use it as I see fit.”
This can only leave one to take the position that indeed, the Prime Minister of Canada himself does plan on toking up once his very own office implements legislation.
Justin Trudeau has garnered quite the outcry from the nation with some even threatening legal action should what he’s implying comes to fruition. For now, it’s nothing more than a loaded answer but surely the Prime Minister of all people would know to choose his word’s in a wiser manner. All that being said, it has been documented and the Prime Minister himself admitted he’s smoked cannabis before taking office at a social gathering some time ago …what’s to stop him again?
